Hayashi accepts offer from University of South Dakota

Junior Golf Victoria congratulates Tour stalwart and star of our promotional video on our home page Akari Hayashi on accepting a golf scholarship to the University of South Dakota. Located in the bustling metropolis of Vermillion South Dakota where at the time of this writing the temperature was a balmy -13, the USD Coyotes are NCAA Division I members. Attempts to reach Akari for a comment have proved unsuccessful as we understand she is busy shopping for a goose down parka. Don’t worry Akari, it’s a dry cold.

In accepting this offer, Akari joins her older sister Mirai who stars with the UVic Vikes Women’s Golf team as a competitive collegiate golfer. We are very proud of you both not just because of what you have achieved on the golf course but because of what fine young women you’ve become. It was a pleasure being a part of that journey.
